A party leader Graham Dyson is doing a circular from Mungrisdale, ascending Bowscale Fell (702m), then on to Cross Tarn Crags and dropping down to the River Caldew, crossing over and ascending Green Lingy Hill than on to Milton Hill and over Carrock Fell before dropping down into Mosesdale and back into Mungrisdale - 12 miles, with 3,000 ft of ascent.

B party leader Jenny Hebbletwhaite is doing a circular from Mungrisdale, following a path by the river Glendermackin to White Horse Bent, Mousthwaite and on to Lowside, then following field tracks and bridlepaths at the base of Souther fell to Mungrisdale.
C party leaders Mildred and Ursula are doing a circular from Mungrisdale, ascending to Redmire across fields to Far Howe and along a lane past the Roman Fort, then back across fields to Under Howe to Mungrisdale. 6 miles and lots of stiles.

STOCKTON-ON-TEES WEEKEND
24th - 26th April 2009

What a brilliant weekend we had with lovely weather and good walks every day. The food was excellent and we finished off with an excellent meal at the A66 Motel on our way home.
