"A" party leader Tom Hodgson is starting the walk at Lythe Valley Road to the Howe and over Whitbarrow to North Lodge and on to Pool Bank, Lobby Bridge, Strawberry Bank, Birks Bridge and Winster Bridge, ending the walk at Brown House Inn . "B" party leader Norma Nichols is starting the walk at Lamb Howe, across to Bryan House Farm and up to Winster House, round Birkett House allotment, Ghyll Head, Rosthwaite Heights, Rosthwaite Farm, through Wilcock Wood and into Winster. " C" party leader David Lyth is starting the walk at Tarnside to Bowland Bridge and on to Hollins Farm and Great Hartbarrow, Neds Low Wood and on to Winster. 12 noon from Torrisholme Church of the Ascension, Torrisholme

RAMBLING WEEKEND
DUMFRIES WEEKEND
11th - 13th April 2008 What a good weekend we had in Dumfries, even though the weather wasn't very kind on Friday and Saturday. This year there were lots of members snapping away with their digital cameras. I have created a slide show on DVD of the photos taken during our rambling weekend and any members wishing to purchase a copy, the price will again be £3, with proceeds (after expenses) going to Club funds. Most of the photos are now on the website - except for the last day - unfortunately I've run out of web space, so I will take off the first day's walks and put on the last day's when you've all had a chance to look at them.
