An angler we passed on our way up to Captain Cook's monument

Roseberry Topping in the distance
'A' party ascending the steep slope through the woods to Captain Cook's monument
Roseberry Topping in the distance from Captain Cook's monument
'B' party leaving Captain Cook's monument
Our route was the same as Captain Cook's boyhood walk
View of the surrounding area
'A' party walking across moorland

There was a lot of tree felling in this area as we headed towards Roseberry Topping
Looking back at Captain Cook's monument on the distant peak
Roseberry Topping's getting nearer!
Not far now
The path up to the top - it was very windy when we got about half way up
